The third instalment of Off The Record at Lockside Lounge is upon us and if it snows this time, there will be naked dancing from the DJ booth!

After two very successful events, Off The Record returns with a stellar line up of DJs ready to play records and records only for your drinking and dancing pleasure.

This time round we have gone out of our way to bring you two excellent guests.

Orsii – Jazzmanrecords.co.uk

First up we have Orsii. No stranger to the Off The Record format, I have been waiting patiently to invite her out again to play some records. Working for Jazzman and Fat City Records allows Orsii to get her hands on all sorts of gems. But who knows, it could be a straight up hip hop set on the night. Lets just see what happens. Paul White – One-Handed Music

Headlining this night is non other than Paul White. Now, I will start of with my personal views on Paul White and leave you with something from the internets about him. I first found out about Paul White from the myspace days as he was / is label mates with Bullion on the excellent One Handed Music run by Alex Chase. I picked up his first album The Strange Dreams of Paul White which featured neck snapping beats over obscure library samples and film chops. At the time it had a more homely feel over the American beats I was listening to at the time. Fast forward some years and now Paul White is an in demand beat maker. Working with people like Guilty Simpson, Tranqill, Marv Won and his latest EP with Danny Brown.

Quoted as ‘the enigmatic English producer with a penchant for psych and prog-rock’ things could get real wild on the dancefloor! Check out his music below

Bensamba - Differentgenre.net

Bensamba or Sambaman as I like to call him is a DJs DJ. Holding a huge depth of knowledge in Latin and Brazilian music his sets are all about the groove. Drums and Bass are what he knows well and we all know the effect those two elements have on the hips and necks of humans.

Writing about myself is weird, luckily, I am good at it. Not confined to one genre but being from a UK Garage background Ray can work any crowd. Whether they be sitting or standing, his choice will cause reactions. TV themes, dubstep, grime, broken beat all have a chance to be heard.
